Especially for Museumnacht, they are blending opera and electronic beats into a surprising and immersive club experience. Expect boundary-pushing DJ sets where classical sounds and modern rhythms meet on the dance floor.

An energetic setting where music, dance, and social connection come together.

Armed with a clear instruction flyer, children go on a voyage of discovery through the various rooms, answering questions along the way. Together, the answers form an eight-letter word. Before they start, they watch a short introductory video that draws them straight into the story.

As the story unfolds live, you help build that shared home. Create a drawing, have it scanned instantly, and watch as your idea becomes part of the story and comes to life in the animations. Together with other visitors, you shape a world that continues to change with every new choice.

With ZoöpLab, Tetem introduces you to the Zoöp philosophy in an interactive way. Together with robot inventor Robin, you will discover how your choices impact the world we share with all the life around us.

Ponytrap shows how video clips can evolve into music. During Museumnacht, you can attend short performances by Ponytrap. Robots, viola, and video sequencing come together in a live performance.

Between performances, you will have the chance to create beats with the robots yourself. You read that right: it’s interactive! Choose your favorite videos and combine visuals, music, and robots into your own composition.

The interactive section is ongoing; the 10-minute performances take place at 19:30, 20:30, 21:30, 22:30, and 23:30.

The installation guides you through the experience step by step. You begin in a quiet space before entering the central area, where the sculptures invite you to experience the interplay between body and technology through touch. Afterwards, there is space to reflect on your experience before continuing with Museumnacht.

Laura A Dima starts from the idea that our bodies are constantly communicating with the world around us, often without us being aware of it. By placing touch at the heart of the interaction with digital technology, she encourages you to consider how people, technology, and their environment influence one another.

Design a character or color in an existing one, and watch as we use AI to transform it into a dancing animation. Your swinging creation will be visible on the big screen alongside all its friends immediately.

The exhibition shows what home looks like in different cultures, from differences in the kitchen and garden to the bathroom. During Museumnacht, we bring this experience to life. Snacks and scents bring the stories to life and add an extra layer to the experience.

Rodenburg has been performing since he was 9 years old, initially with his parents and now with his own bands. His work is often infused with classic jazz and leans into the theatrical. Borkens also started making music at a young age and has a penchant for the 80s, with its synthesizers and signature sound. Rodenburg and Borkens experiment with the fringes where their musical interests overlap and would love to get you dancing.

Every show is an interdisciplinary experiment featuring music that is both philosophical and danceable, alienating yet relatable, with the band guided by their motto: ‘Only one day is your last, let that one rot and seize the rest.’

Participants will learn from Nela how to build body-like forms out of aluminum foil by cutting, folding, and shaping, resulting in unexpected figures.

In this hands-on session, you will get to work yourself, printing unique designs onto your own clothing. We will teach you the basics of screen printing, from preparing a design to working with ink and printing on fabric. We provide a selection of cool designs to choose from, all aligned with the theme of our exhibition with a Concordia twist. So, be sure to bring a T-shirt, tote bag, blouse, or other textile you want to give a second life, so you can walk away showing off your one-of-a-kind garment!

Discover the history of the Jewish quarter around the Synagogue. A film of approximately 30 minutes will be shown continuously in the Banquet Hall on the first floor. In addition, several Parochets (Torah ark curtains) are on display in poster format. A special detail: the very first service after the Second World War took place in this Banquet Hall.

We are screening a selection of short films where you will instantly recognize his signature style. From meticulously composed shots and dry humor to stories that balance between the absurd and the touching. Walk in, order a drink, and immerse yourself in this cinematic break full of style and imagination.

The ukulele may be small in size, but it is big on possibilities. With just a few chords, you can soon accompany a song. During this workshop, you will be introduced to the ukulele in an accessible way. You will learn the basics of the instrument and experience how quickly you can make music together. The ukulele is often seen as the little brother of the guitar, but it is easier to learn to play and therefore suitable for everyone.

Capture yourself with glow-in-the-dark makeup, a new fashion outfit, or a handmade mask during Museum Night in our photobooth. You can take photos alone or with friends using our cool (handmade) props and accessories. For an extra awesome effect, get your face painted beforehand!

Clothing swap

Let's share the gems from our closets! Swap up to 3 items; they must be fashionable, intact, and clean. You earn points for high-quality and unique pieces. These points can then be redeemed for other items. You only pay a small service fee if you find something you'd like to wear and take home after swapping your clothes.

In an accessible and enthusiastic way, you will be introduced to the music, stories, and traditions of the Malinke, a people from West Africa. Together, you will play djembes and doundouns and discover how rhythm, culture, and collaboration are interconnected. Matthijs will guide you through the rich history behind the music and, above all, let you experience for yourself how fun drumming is. No experience is necessary; everyone can join in. Expect plenty of energy, fun, a great way to let loose, and above all, drums!

Miriam van Dixhoorn and Jules Beerda are experienced and acclaimed instrumentalists, returning for their third Museum Night.

Two years ago, Booster introduced a new program track: CTRL. This initiative challenges artists who have previously performed at Booster or are further along in their careers to develop a special show to present at the festival.

This cheerful string instrument is known for its warm sound and surprisingly simple playing style, allowing you to start making music in no time. Anja will guide you step-by-step through the basics of playing the ukulele. You will discover how the instrument works, learn a few simple chords, and experience the joy of playing a song together. Singing along is encouraged! The ukulele is compact, versatile, and suitable for all ages, making it easy for everyone to join in. Whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time or just want to try something new, this workshop offers a relaxed introduction to the ukulele.
